Since 1967, the Nanaimo Child Development Centre (NCDC) has provided services to enhance the quality of life for children with developmental needs. The NCDC provides services to families in Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Lantzville, Gabriola Island and Protection Island.

NUKO provides support academically, recreationally, socially and behaviourally.
Offering intervention programs and a learning centre.
