​An island wide event for adults and children with Down syndrome, their families, and support professionals.

Join us on June 14th, 2025 between 10:30am and 2:00 pm for an awareness walk and picnic at Airforce Beach, Comox.

For the awareness walk, we are raising funds for the Canadian Down Syndrome Society. You can help raise funds by registering with our team (Vancouver Island Down Syndrome Society).  We will add the link at a later date so you can join as part of our team.

If you do not wish to become a team member you may also simply donate.

We will also be offering our Awareness Walk T-shirts again this year for $18.00 each. Registration with T-Shirt is due June 1st. Below is a picture of what will be printed on the front in black.
